Vidya Ganapthi: Celebrating knowledge and books
In Indian traditions, Vidya Ganapathi is a representation of Lord Ganesha as the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, learning and intellectual growth. Ganesha is invoked before beginning new endeavours, and Vidya Ganapathi carries a particularly meaningful message for everyone who seeks knowledge.

Recently, we also celebrated International World Literacy Day (September 8th), celebrating the joy of literacy and education. But with the onslaught of smart technology and the sudden rise of generative AI; we, as a society, are slowly losing our critical thinking skills and ability, our attention span is getting shorter and our dependence on smart technology is getting heavier.
Reading gives us something that short-form digital content often cannot; a book makes you think, help you grow as a person, makes you empathise with people from different walks of life. And in this world where we are growing more and more isolated by the day, it is important to feel a sense of compassion and build a community.
This is where the spirit of Vidya Ganapathi becomes especially meaningful. Knowledge is not merely about collecting information. It is about developing curiosity, memory, imagination, and empathy. Every book read is another doorway into that journey.

To actively celebrate this, we are extending our Book Sale to help motivate you guys to read more. Even doing something as simple as reading a page a day, to inculcate the habit of reading makes a world of a difference in the long run!
FOOD FOR YOUR BODY, FOOD FOR YOUR MIND!
AND EVERYTHING FOR YOUR SOUL!
