This festive season, we have a new product for you! The versatile Bisibelebaath!

We say versatile because the Bisibelebaath is fitting in every and any occasion - on festivals, at weddings, for a lazy Sunday meal, as comfort food, as food for guests, as prasada at a temple. It is simultaneously rich but also humble, it belongs to the Gods and the common people alike.

Food historians like K. T. Acharya suggest that this traditional dish has evolved from a 10th century dish called the Kattogara - a rice dish made with ghee, garlic, and salt. Other argue that it was invented in the royal kitchens of the Mysuru Palace. Although its exact origins are not definitively documented, Bisibelebaath remains closely associated with the food traditions of the Mysuru region. Over time, it has travelled from the royal kitchens to the common household and has become an important part of our cultural and culinary heritage.
